Cinematographer Craig Harmer rehearses a handheld shot with choreographer Daisy Long and actress Holland Roden on the set of horror/thriller film 'Mother, May I?', working with an ARRI Alexa Mini digital cinema camera and a vintage Canon K35 lens.

Craig Harmer was born in Columbus, Ohio. He studied motion picture film and large format photography as an undergraduate student in Michigan. His first independent films were produced in Chicago, Detroit, and New York.

Harmer is now based in Los Angeles and has more than 13 years’ background in branded content, TV, documentaries, and narrative film. His credits include filming for NBC Universal broadcast productions The Voice and Songland, and for clients including Netflix, Fox, NASCAR, Atlantic Records, Merrell, Honey, West Elm, Haworth, and Steelcase, among others.

His latest feature film MOTHER, MAY I? stars Kyle Gallner and Holland Roden, and is now available on streaming platforms.

Craig is also co-founder of art collective Slow Blink Studios, which he runs with his partner Anna Gustafson.
